Artifice

One of the main villains in my novel, Artifice is an insane jester with dark magical abilities who steals the souls of monsters and warriors and seals them inside a deck of cards to summon and fight against his enemies. He is around 7 feet tall and disturbingly thin, always cackling with deranged laughter at his own antics and those of others. He likes to pull poisoned daggers out of his motley, which seems to be able to store an infinite amount of the deadly tools, and use them as hand to hand and projectile weapons. Another ability of his is to contort his body into impossible stances that would kill any normal being such as twisting his torso and bending over backwards at the same time. an interesting phenomena surrounds him that appears to allow him to bend the laws of physics, allowing him to levitate, leap insane distances, run on walls and ceilings, perform great acts of acrobatics and even to vanish and reappear in an ill wind. The markings on his face glow sinisterly when his hood is up.
